Description

Xenum DPF cleaner without disassembly - 400ml + injection nozzle

Benefits : 

  • This product ensures quick and efficient cleaning at a lower cost (soot carbon, deposits,...).
  • The FAP Xenum cleaner significantly extends the life of the diesel particulate filter.
  • Does not require FAP disassembly.
  • Finally, this cleaning spray helps to avoid the loss of power on your vehicle as well as potential problems related to short distances. 

Instructions for use : 

  1. Disassemble the temperature sensor and/or differential pressure sensor located upstream of the particulate filter.
  2. Bring the engine to operating temperature.
  3. Stop the engine.
  4. Insert the nozzle tip into the FAP (if disassembly of the temperature sensor), or into the hose running upstream of the FAP to the differential pressure sensor.
  5. Spray the entire product into the particulate filter.
  6. Reassemble the temperature sensor and/or differential pressure sensor.
  7. Regenerate the PFF by doing a diagnostic test or a road test (about 30 min).
  8. Using a diagnostic device, engine running at idle, check in the engine management ECU the parameter "Differential pressure sensor" and make sure it is a few mbars (about 6-9mb). If necessary (to clear some fault codes), inform the calculator that the particulate filter has been changed to reset the soot and ash rates.

Notes :  before using the product, please bring protective equipment. Use gloves and goggles throughout the entire cleaning process.

Warning : this product is not suitable for air transport.
